Hi, I’m Zaida
Hello!I'm a Certified Nutritionist, Wellness Coach, and Personal Trainer,
and if there's one thing I've learned, it's this:
Health isn't about being perfect. It's about learning how to keep moving forward—even when life knocks you down.
I know that because I've lived it. Before I found my calling in nutrition, I spent years working as a contractor and designer in the construction industry. I loved building things, solving problems, and bringing ideas to life. At 29 years old, everything changed. I suffered a stroke and in a single moment, my world shifted.
Instead of focusing on projects and deadlines, I was focused on recovery. I had to relearn, adapt, and rebuild parts of my life I once took for granted. It was one of the hardest seasons I've ever faced—but it also became one of the most defining.
That experience completely changed the way I viewed health. I stopped chasing perfection. I stopped believing that health was simply about eating the "right" foods or exercising more. Instead, I began to understand something much deeper:
Healing happens one choice, one habit, and one day at a time.
As I learned more about nutrition, movement, and behavior change, I also found myself navigating my own health challenges, including PMOS, Autoimmune disease, and other chronic conditions. Every diagnosis taught me something new about patience, resilience, and the importance of caring for our bodies instead of constantly fighting against them.
Looking back, I realize resilience has always been part of my story.
When I was nine years old, I survived a serious car accident that left me with physical challenges I carried for years. At the time, I couldn't have known how much that experience would prepare me for the challenges that lay ahead. It taught me that setbacks don't define us but how we respond to them does.
Today, my experiences are the reason I do this work. I don't coach from a place of perfection. I coach from a place of understanding. I know what it's like to receive difficult news. I know what it's like to wonder if your body will ever feel like your own again. I know what it's like to start over. And I also know that change is possible.
Whether you're managing PCOS, chronic inflammation, digestive concerns, emotional eating, postpartum recovery, or simply trying to build healthier habits that last, my goal is to help you create a lifestyle that works for your body and yourlife.
Because before I helped people build healthier lives...
I built homes.
And I've learned that the strongest homes—and the healthiest lives—are both built the same way:
One solid foundation at a time.
