The Science of Serenity

Our work explores how nourishment, rhythm, and environment shape regulation and ease. Drawing from neuroscience, herbal wisdom, and biophilic design, we support well-being that adapts to life rather than demands it.

Meet the Founder

Ileray Studio is a biophilic design practice centered on creating environments that support regulation, rhythm, and sustainable well-being. Led by designer and certified wellness professional Zaida Marin, the studio integrates interior design, landscape and edible garden design, and spatial planning to shape spaces that function beautifully and support real life.

Zaida brings over a decade of experience in construction management, alongside formal training in interior design, and professional experience in landscape design and glazing. Her work is grounded in a deep understanding of how space, structure, materials, and circulation influence daily habits, energy, and ease—allowing her to design environments that are both technically sound and thoughtfully lived in.

Through years of hands-on work with land and built space, Zaida became increasingly interested in how environments affect the nervous system, shape behavior, and influence long-term health. This curiosity led her to pursue advanced training in holistic nutrition, gut health, herbalism, movement, and neuroscience-informed wellness, expanding her design practice into a systems-based approach that bridges environment and physiology.

Ileray Studio was founded to unite biophilic interior design, landscape and garden design, and nourishment systems into a single, integrated methodology—one that considers not only how spaces look, but how they support regulation, consistency, and daily rhythm. Rather than focusing on optimization or aesthetics alone, the studio approaches design as a form of environmental support.

Zaida’s philosophy is also informed by lived experience. After navigating autoimmune disease and chronic health challenges, she reframed wellness from force and discipline to regulation, support, and sustainability—recognizing the critical role that environment plays in resilience and recovery. This perspective informs every aspect of the studio’s work today.

Through Ileray Studio, Zaida helps clients design interiors, gardens, and daily systems that feel grounding, nourishing, and livable—creating spaces that quietly give something back, and support a deeper sense of ease over time.
